Recovery Konsole deinstallieren

Entfernen der Recovery Konsole aus dem Bootmenü:

To delete the Recovery Console

1. Open My Computer
2. Double-click the hard drive on which you installed the Recovery Console.
3. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
4. Click the View tab.

Arbeitsplatz-Extras-Optionen-Ansicht....

5. Click Show hidden files and folders, clear the Hide protected operating system files check box, and then click OK.
6. At the root directory, delete the \Cmdcons folder.
7. At the root directory, delete the file Cmldr.
8. At the root directory, right-click the Boot.ini file and then click Properties.
9. Clear the Read-only check box, and then click OK.
10. Open Boot.ini in Notepad, and remove the entry for the Recovery Console. It will look similar to this:
C:\cmdcons\bootsect.dat="Microsoft Windows Recovery Console" /cmdcons
11. Save the file and close it.

Warnung: vorher Sicherheitskopie der Boot.ini erstellen

It is recommended that you change the attribute for the Boot.ini file back to read-only after you complete this procedure. You may also want to hide your system files again.

Fixboot
Writes a new partition boot sector to the system partition. The fixboot command is only available when you are using the Recovery Console
fixboot [drive]

Parameter drive:
The drive to which a boot sector will be written. This replaces the default drive, which is the system partition you are logged on to.

The following example writes a new partition boot sector to the system partition in drive E:
fixboot e:

Using the fixboot command without any parameters will write a new partition boot sector to the system partition you are logged on to.


Fixmbr
Repairs the master boot record of the boot disk. The fixmbr and fixboot commands are only available when using the Recovery Console


fixmbr [device_name]

Parameter   device_name :
The device (drive) on which you want to write a new master boot record. The name can be obtained from the output of the map command. An example of a device name is:
\Device\HardDisk0.

Example:   The following example writes a new master boot record to the device specified:

fixmbr \Device\HardDisk0

Note: If you do not specify a device_name, a new master boot record will be written to the boot device, which is the drive on which your primary system is loaded.

To install the Recovery Console as a startup option

1. With Windows running, insert Setup CD into CD-ROM drive.
2. Click Start and select Run.
3. Type the following where D: is the CD-ROM drive letter:

D:\i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons

4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Problem mit Kennwort in Outlook Express

Kennwort von Konto in Outlook Express wird nicht gespeichert.

Outlook Express vergisst Kennwort von email Konto.

Betriebssystem: Windows 2000 und Windows XP

Lösung durch Eingriff in die Registrierung:

-Als Administrator am System anmelden, oder als Benutzer mit Administratorrechten über START / AUSFÜHREN "regedit".

-Gehe zu Schlüssel HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider

-Falls ein Schlüssel der Form S-1-5-21-123456789...... existiert, diesen Schlüssel sowie eventuelle Unterschlüssel löschen.

Vorsicht: Dabei gehen auch die gespeicherten Passwörter von eventuellen anderen Konten verloren!

[Falls S-1-5-21-....... nicht angezeigt wird:

Schlüssel "Protected Storage System Provider" markieren.

Klick auf Berechtigungen...Erweitert....

"Berechtigungen übergeordneter Objekte auf untergeordnete Objekte sofern anwendbar, vererben. Diese mit den hier definierten Einträgen mit einbeziehen" - aktivieren.]

[Falls sich der Schlüssel S-1-5-21-123456usw... nicht löschen läßt:

Rechts-Mausklick auf S-1-5-21-123456usw und im Menü auf Berechtigungen. Dort dem Benutzer oder Admin über "Hinzufügen" die Berechtigung "Vollzugriff" und "Lesen" erteilen.]

-Schlüssel S-1-5-21-123456usw löschen.

-Registrierungseditor schliessen und System neu starten.

-In Outlook Express Kontoinformationen insbesondere Passwort neu eingeben, dabei "Kennwort speichern" aktivieren.

-Senden und Empfangen testen.

-Die erstellten bzw. geänderten Berechtigungen in der Registry wieder zurücknehmen.
